Yes he does. He knows who he actually is because he read the books. Most people go off what the see in the show and others memories of him but he is not those things. He is beautiful and loving and he feels deeply for the ones he loves.

I absolutelly LOVED this interview! (I've listened to it countless times by now XD) Sam's voice, his laughter and the jokes! And just how much he knows about the character. You can really tell he's a fan and he's having the best time working in the series and that makes me so happy! I could listen to him talking about Lestat and the Chronicles the whole day 🥰(actually, I could listen to him just talking about anything the whole day! haha) Could you imagine how awesome it would be to have him playing Lestat in a version of the audiokooks as well?? It would be dreamy! 💖😭🥰🥰 And also, Naomi!, she's the best!! I loved all the podcasts!!!

I love that he clarifies that these are the versions of Lestat out of memory. That is why it is so very important to read the book 'The Vampire Lestat' it is who he is. It makes more sense when you see him say, "I don't like to go to bed angry." He really doesn't. He over thinks. He went to ground so much sooner than any other new born vampire only 10 years as a vampire. If they don't they go mad. He did it because he didn't want to feel the loss he felt all at one time. Lestat eats only what he needs unless he is struggling with his emotions. That is why Sam says he can't wait for Lestat to say "no, this is how it actually went."

Another one of my favorites !!!!! Sam's laughter is wonderful. His voice ...velvety butter. Naomi is so good with him. Something about her seems to put him at such an ease, that it's just friends talking. His best interviews are on her podcast. I love hearing him explain this series. Thanks for adding the video clips, it makes this a million times better. Brava!!! Brava!!! Well, let me list a few of mine. Love when he describes seeing Louis on the street. Love when they discuss the tenor, poor fellow, should have rehearsed more, wrong night to be off key, Love when he discusses Lestat's money, "following the trends." "We were getting tested every day, I think that's what love in the pandemic is" {Brilliant!!!}. When Naomi says "Sam, no, I know you're playing him, but no" after he says "Lestat's heart is in the right place". {That was a full belly laugh} I could just listen to this man laugh all day!! You're right to list all my favorites would just be a transcription of everything they said . Is there a potion to get over this? If there is, keep it away from me!!! Thank you HM🌺🌺🐞🐞
