Just FYI we have full package of colonizers. Strat from Portugis, Spanish, British, Dutch, and Japan. We also going through both imperialization and colonialization and Thanks God we survived from all of them, that's why even though Indonesia was a group from different tribes that has few similarity but we still intact till now because we have the same experience of how bad imperialist was. Thank you for your reaction and respect. But another sad thing sometimes the imperialist country not even aware that they had done bad things to another country, I don't takes the blames to new generation of that country now but I just hope no other country get occupied again because we also experience when many other country at that time believe that our heroes was the barbaric one until one by one country acknowledge our condition like Palestine, Egypt and many other country at that time, may be that also why we have soft spot for Palestine because they are one of the first country that acknowledge us as an independent country

Yeah, I agree with you guys. This video shows less symbols and traditions of Indonesia in the past. But the story shown in the video is more complete and simpler. There are only snakes with batik motifs on their skin, 8 fantasy creatures that symbolize 8 regions that used to be one with the archipelago. FYI Nusantara is the name of Indonesia before the arrival of Europeans. The Two-Headed Dragon symbolizes the 2 countries that colonized Indonesia. The Blue Dragon that comes from a fusion of 8 regions in the era of the Majapahit kingdom. and the Garuda Bird which became the National Symbol of Indonesia... 😃

Karena kali ini menceritakan tentang sejarah Indonesia di masa lalu. Sebelumnya Indonesia di sebut Nusantara yang dicetuskan pada masa kejayaan Kerajaan Majapahit. Berbagai kerajaan di Nusantara dan zaman kolonial datang ke Nusantara dan memerangi kerajaan-kerajaan yang ada. Selama ratusan tahun Indonesia dijajah Belanda dan Jepang dan Indonesia berperang melawan Belanda, Jepang dan Inggris. Dan pada akhirnya merdeka 17 Agustus 1945. Selanjutnya Indonesia masih berperang melawan Belanda karena Belanda kembali datang untuk menjajah dan pada akhirnya Belanda menyerah dan mengakui kemerdekaan Indonesia pada tahun 1949

Video kali ini lebih bercerita tentang sejarah perjuangan terbentuknya nusantara.. Naga dengan api biru yang kalah itu menyimbolkan waktu kerajaan majapahit yg runtuh melawan para penjajah yang di gambarkan dengan naga berkepala 2(Belanda dan jepan) Dan ahirnya garuda bangkit mengalahkan (garuda simbol dari persatuan dari seluruh rakyat nusantara dari berbagai pulau pulau di indonesia) yang berjuang bersama mengusir penjajah. Mungkin cuma ini yang bisa sedikit saya jelaskan mengenai video ini.. Sebenarnya ada banyak lagi makna,simbol dan pasan pesan moral yang terkandung di dalamnya. So many Indonesian cultural symbols there... Such like the Majapahit kingdom's flag symbol (The largest and the strongest Kingdom in the history of Indonesia). And you can see lots of representative symbols like the Majapahit symbols were burned cause of brother's war and started to be colonized. After then the heroes of nations were fighting against the colonialist and win. The bird is Garuda (the symbol of Indonesian Ideology). Garuda is a very great and unite the diversity become one the Indonesia country. Garuda is also the symbol of the independence of Indonesia. So in the video Garuda flies over the sky and cure the nature after a big disaster because of war. I prefer this more. So many message and things are represented very well. Such a great jobs!

Thanks for doing this reaction Mommy Drew. Many would probably have thoughts all these are inspired by Avatar. The CGI animation is definitely a yes. But the rests of them are the opposite. Avatar was probably inspired by what We, in Nusantara (Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar) had and still have until today. The outfits, headpieces, and crowns, we still have them until today. Many of them are even stored in the world's most known museums where the people behind Avatar probably have seen them. Many were curious to know about: Traditional instrument: It's called Sasando originating from the island of Rote in the East Nusa Tenggara province. Sasando is also called sasandu from the word Sandu or Sanu which means vibrating, is a tube zither, a harp-like traditional music string instrument. The animated 8 small Birds are Jalak Bali (Bali's most famous bird species) The dragon is called Antaboga. They can be a guardian to us but also can turn into a devil as seen in the video. The animated gigantic bird is Garuda. The symbol of our nation where all of the most important rules for Indonesian citizens are written in his body, including Pancasila (the 5 principals of Indonesia) and the Bhineka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity). Showcasing Garuda is actually not something that everyone can do because it's protected by law. But since this video is also supported by the Ministry of Culture of Indonesia, Alffy Rev and the team must already have permission to do so. Again, really enjoyed watching your reaction. Yg naga kepala dua itu bukan Antaboga. Yg antaboga yg bangkit dr 8 burung kecil dan warnanya biru (semburan apinya jg biru). Di video klipnya, naga antaboga-nya kalah sm naga kepala dua.

Ralat bro. Naga kepala merah kepala dua itu menggambarkan penjajah yang datang bro (Netherland dan japan). Sedangkan naga biru kepala satu itu adalah naga anta boga. Kekalahab naga anta boga (naga biru) menggambarkan runtuhnya kerajaan kita dulu.
