This will be increasing to 24 hours the fall of 2024 but at this time, the new rule is not yet in effect. IRCC continues to work towards implementation of the regulatory changes in Fall 2024. Kaya di ako nag student pathway nung 2016 kasi ang mahal. Maswerte dahil nakakuha kami ng provincial nomination nung 2017 kaya PR kami agad pag land ng Canada. Wag na kayong mag IS pathway. Hindi yan guarantee at magastos din unless may sponsor kayo.

Clarification lang po, I don't think IRCC released an update allowing IS to work up to 24hrs, my spouse is still currently working for only 20hrs.

If you go sa Working Hours ng student, it says 20hrs. But if you click the Changes to off-campus work sa taas ng page, it will direct you sa announcement nung April 2024. Based on my interpretation, and my interpretation alone. Students starting fall is now allowes to work 24 hrs. If we are not agreeing on the interpretation, please confirm it with an immigration consultant. Or better ask your school pp as they have a licensed immig in house. Again, if you're in doubt, better be safe than sorrry. Do 20hrs untill u confirm this sa licensed consultant. Question po sir my status is visitor visa and then opportunity come there is a employer gave me a positive LMIA and a job offer.In the job contract they gave me restaurant cook position and starting date of work is December 01 but i don't have a certificate for that position because my previous job is bartender.Can this affect my application for working permit eventhough i don't have a cook certificate.Should i go for flagpooling or should i go home to Philippines and apply it online instead.

Depende sa work na makuha mo later on if targeted for PR. Pero as MBA grad dito sa CA, that's already a big advantage sa EE profile

Naku better choose other countries dahil ang Canada is tax on everything, your salary is taxed, after tax you save money, if it incurred interest it will be tax pa din, you buy stuff it will be tax, and lets say kumuha ka na din ng bahay you will be tax again through property tax, never ending pagbabayad ng tax dito.. they highly observe and practice tipping, so, parang halos wala na matitira sayo..
