This video is the best content. The clinics are vague. Like the post care lines up but they never say why which just leaves you in worry. For example you've said 72 hours is the key period for being able to rub them out. The clinics don't mention this so you're a nervous mess for longer than necessary.

It's weird how many different instructions are found online. From not getting the hair wet for two weeks to regularly rinsing. As a doctor myself although internal medicine, I think yours makes the most sense and Ive been following it. Only slept longer with raised upper body, pure torture without a recliner. Next time I'd make sure to get one (and since I have only very sparse transplants since the area.was so large, there'll probably be a next time). 1. For the first 3 days, sleep upright, at a 35 degree angle. In general, be very careful to not touch your grafts on the first 3 days. After that they are more anchored in. On day 0 (day of surgery) no cleaning of scalp. For the next 5 days, you apply ointment to the done area - nothing else. Day 1 (morning after surgery), spray recipient area with ATP solution every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Day 2-5, have a basin or jug, fill with warm water, pour some baby shampoo and pour over your recipient area. Then you can just use some regular warm water and pour over just to get shampoo off. You can then either pat dry or extra safe just air dry. In day 6 AFTER the surgery, you can shower,and let the shower current hit your recipient area. From this day to day 14 you want to work out your crusts. So you lather the baby shampoo over the crust. So not a firm rub but a lathering motion that helps get the crust out each day. By day 14, all crusts must be off. 2. For the first 7 days, no physical activity. 3. For the first 2 weeks, avoid sun exposure but can wear a hat to provide protection 4. Can use comb after 5 days minimum but do not touch the scalp 5. . After 1 week you can start light exercise 6. After 2 weeks you can do regular exercise and wear a baseball cap 7. After 3 weeks can swim in pool or ocean. You can also have a haircut after 3 weeks (including the recipient side) 8. . PRP can be done on day of surgery, 3 months after surgery..? 9. . Can colour hair 3 weeks after hair transplant

does people have to take finasteride to avoid the new hair from falling again?
@kjjviii1735 Жыл бұрын
The transplanted hair will never fall out if it has been taken from the correct donor area from the back of the scalp. Balding only occurs to hairs on the top of your scalp however I'm sure you have noticed on some bald people that that area does extend a little further down at the back. So as long as hairs have been extracted from the correct donor area than your transplanted hair will last forever. I recommend if you've experienced hair loss to continue using finasteride after a transplant to avoid further hair loss to your original hairs on top.
