The title says legends, but half the information given is from new canon comics and TCW, which is also canon.

TCW is both part of canon and legends (with the exception of s7 which is exclusively canon)

@@alexanderlarsson425 Not really, no. Since legends was dropped and everything Filoni made post 2008 was adopted and made the basis in the post 2014 canon. Between 2008 and 2014 BEFORE the separation of Canon and Legends, that was true, because there was no Canon and Legends, when Disney adopted TCW it retroactively lost all ties to Legends. It was also, very clearly a completely different continuity with different characters, like Grievous, Bariss Offee, Quinlan Vos and Anakin to name a few that are completely different than every other continuity. EU exclusive timeline (which is essentially legends) already had its own timeline, TCW added retcons for a new timeline, which could be accepted or denied on a personal level, because otherwise TCW completely invalidates the work of extremely talented writers like James Luceno, Matthew Stover and Karen Traviss (to a lesser extent) among literally hundreds more creators who actually cared about lore and continuity, unlike the new heads of Star Wars. So yes, in EU Grievous was a badass, in TCW he's not and you can't fit both into the same timeline, so that's when the choice comes into play what timeline are you considering for the discussion?

@@an0rangutan TCW s1-6 still definitely adhere to the legends timeline. The retcons you speak about wouldn’t be accepted on denied on a personal level (unless you listen to Matt Martin). You would look at the canon hierarchy for Legends. TCW would go under T canon and therefore be > other EU material in terms of its canonicity. You can clearly fit TCW into the legends timeline. From what you are saying it seems like you don’t think it fits due to the retcons it makes, making it more of a personal issue than anything else.

@@alexanderlarsson425 The retcons invalidate literally decades of other works and make the (quite frankly, superior) work of hundreds to thousands of creative members meaningless because of semantic lettering systems. If you use TCW, you ignore the majority of Star Wars lore and continuity for an entirely separate series of events and characters. It's like pretending the other works never existed and have no timeline. The EU timeline doesn't include TCW anymore, it was adapted out retroactively.

The only reason anakin was able to handle both daughter and the son was because mortis was a massive force nexus that amped anakin to a higher degree than his full potential so yes George Lucas is right anakin without been amped is 2 times more powerful than full power emperor papaltine reborn, another thing that held back vader from becoming more powerful than he was, was that he never studied sith magic rituals and archemy because papaltine kept it from him.
