Does ball handling skill boost give you speed boosting at the beginning of the game? Are you using skill boost for ball handling? Also do you not get different dribble animations because you have 83 ball control and not 86? Sorry with all the questions, I just want to know before I make a pure point

I have one at 6’10. Skill boosts do increase attributes but do not enable players to speedboost. Only the takeover bar enables you to speedboost. Once u hit 89 it will only take like one shot or assist to get to speedboosting. You also can still get pro dribble moves which are highly effective. Lastly, sometimes I wish I went 6’9 minimum wing so I don’t even need to get warm in order to speedboost. Overall it’s my most fun build

This game actually sucks tho if you think about just the “takeover” system... As a pure post, I had like 2 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block in Jordan Rec... I was DOMINATING my guy in the and it doesn’t give me takeover because I’m not scoring in the post? I literally had to start dunking and scoring in the post to get takeover because simply dominating every other aspect of the game isn’t good enough given my archetype. That’s why this game is dumb. If a pure lock hits a 3 in the corner, for example, then it should give him just as much takeover if he gets a steal... simple. And even in single player game modes like myleague or playnow, why the hell are NBA players given takeover the way it works for our mycareer players, too? Like LeBron isn’t just a slashing playmaker. He’s kinda everything. But when LeBron gets takeover in single player games, you’ll notice that his “archetype” attributes are the ones that get the biggest boosts when you go look at his stats. For example, Shaq gets major boosts to defense and post scoring, but even his rebounds don’t get that much of a boost. And shaq’s shooting gets like a 1 point boost when it takeover. It’s so damn silly. It’s extremely flawed and they WILL remove “takeover” in 2k20... or at least highly revamp it.
