The styling of this interview was excellent. Dricus looks gooood. He's found a really fair middle ground to promote his own prowess and odds of victory, pointing out why Strickland is a knob, but he's paying him his dues that it did have to get to a decision, that Strickland does have a few qualities you must take into account. How many fighters just go around fabricating how good they are and how bad the other guy is (like Strickland does... muh headbutt). He's an excellent champion and I'm glad he outright said it... modern day Gladiator. That's right! Are you not entertained? (DDP and Jiri have so many similarities. In terms of what I’ve read from the last one about Khamzat beating Whittaker, DDP and Whittaker are completely different fighters. DDP strenght and judo background is something Khamzat will have to deal with it plus he has 11 submissions in his pro mma career,so he won’t be able to be too comfortable cause threat of sub will be there. Look how much time Khamzat spent to take Rob down and hold him until he got the finish it was almost 4 minutes and look at Dricus. Dricus did one judo move and Rob was nearly finished in 60seconds,the thing is DDP wanted to strike with him. I think DDP vs Khamzat will be similar to Burns vs Khamzat. In First round there will be wrestling and then it will be a brawl on the feet.And when fight turns into brawl and chaos this is DDP’s comfort zone.

There is one thing I think people underestimate. Awkwardness. Spent 5 years competing in muay thai and kickboxing on an amateur level and used to take great pride in my surgical way of doing things. Out of all the people I have sparred the one who made me feel like a fool the most wasn't a heavy-handed gorilla or seasoned veteran, but my friend in all his awkward glory. It's sad going through these comments and seeing the snag remarks regarding our language in SA as only Afrikaans. Seems you people are uneducated, we have 12 yes a staggering 12 official languages in our Nation, not all being preached by all, evry culture speak their own, others learn to speak as they assosiate with their friends who might come from other cultures etc, and yes Afrikaans is the youngest of all the languages throughout the wotld and no it's dutch, IT OS NEDERLANDIC ORIGINATING FROM DUTCH/GERMAN/FRENCH! Go and do some bit of reacerch on your facts before just slitting out some load of bull. Because if you'd done your homework, you would also have know that by trying to be funny and disrepecting Dricus, you have basically disrespected our entire NATION, and if you also had done your homework, you would have most likely aswell read up on the fact that we as a Nation do like tp fight, it is something encrypted in our DNA, that os why ypu also should tread lightly when thinking you could just can come and walts in and do and ease as you please. Just think about respecting other man, cause our Nation doesn't deal well on discrimination, i mean that's why we still have big ass discussion on racasism, i mean we do have 12 official languages, think on how many difers cultures etc, there is bound to be the "but this is written in my biblical mythology" yada and so on. Ooh and we have a saying here in South africa that goes like this; "Don't say sorry, aprry doesn't put your teeth back in your mouth"
