DDP is a beast. Most people don't know about his pre UFC career, he had banger fights and he beat a lot of good dudes back in the day. People poke fun at his fighting style but his ground game is also very underrated since he likes a striking battle. Islam is a big lightweight but DDP is a big middleweight. Even if Islam at middleweight takes him down, he won't be able to keep him there. DDP would just overpower him. He's the champ for a reason. Second Strickland fight, he'd make it easy.

When Dricus talks with anyone about his "Win" over Strickland, no one talks about how Strickland out struck him in almost all categories with amount landed and percentage landed. And looking at the two, you could pretty easily see who won. But anytime an interview is given about the fight, no one talks about the most important key to his "Victory"... And that is the Political Activist judges that punished Strickland for having different views and talking bad about Canada's Prime Minister the night before. It is absolutely criminal what they did and I'd be happy if the UFC said they would NEVER do another show there as long as those two judges were employed and able to decide fights. Let me be clear though, I don't fault Dricus for the criminal behavior of the two judges. Dricus is just a fighter doing his job and seems like a great guy. If it was me though, and I got the decision from criminal judges from a fight I know I lost, I wouldn't do interviews on it and talk about what my keys to victory were. I'd be ashamed of it and not talk about it. However, it is super super smart of Dricus's management to have the second fight in Australia because it isn't a neutral area/arena... It would favor Dricus with fans and judges. So if it goes to the judges, Dricus would be 2-0 against Strickland. Super smart. Strickland has to make sure to put Dricus out this time, because just beating him isn't enough with all the SJW judges that hate him. After being a fan and watching the UFC for 30+ years now, there has been plenty of fights that smelled of robbery, bad refing, or super bad judging... But this one is on my top five for worst decisions and angers me the most because it was blatantly politically motivated and the clear and obvious winner was Strickland.
