At last! I understand the difference between a guitar lesson and a lesson in how to play a song. Thank you. For the last 50 years I've suffered through lessons that stuttered and stop for those folks who weren't up to what you've done here. All advanced amateurs are in your eternal debt.

Love your style friend. I’ll apply this version to my playing. Course I need to 1/2 step down for my key, but it’s the best style I’ve seen. Thank u for sharing. I keep coming back to this video to polish it. Thanks again.

Great lesson! The natural way you explain your song arrangement makes it highly accessible. Very little musical vocabulary is needed to get all the viewer needs to know into the lesson and there's a coaching vibe in there, too. Good stuff!

Hey, Mister I love the way you play this song on your guitar. Um if it isn't much trouble do you think you could send me the tabs for this?

Awesome lesson scotty man best one ive found so far. I have a couple questions if youll indulge me. Is your version in the sake key as dobie gray? And I was wondering if by chance you have a cover of the whole song. Since im learning your method a cover by you would be the best to play along with. If you dont have one or dont have time to make one could you recommend one to play along with or should i just maybe play to the original dobie gray? Thanks for the time and help again top notch lessons.

Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad my lesson helped. Yes it is in the same key as Dobie Gray. I have a video up of this song with the duo that I play in. Just type in no assembly required drift away cover, it should come up on the top of the page. Thanks again.

good job. l know that the intro is really all finger rolling, but it really does not suit the acoustic in my opinion, yours is far better. keeps it all together. l will be learning this.

Sorry man, I don't know how to play that song. If I knew how I would, good luck.
