Does this still have the stock transmission? Have you done anything to the bottom end? I have a stock 5 speed with LSD and have heard mixed things about boosting with that set up. Some say it's fine if you aren't slamming gears and and doing hole shots, others have said its made of glass. I don't want anything crazy out of it, around 400whp would keep me happy.

It all depends on what condition your motors in and transmission, Off Stock you can make low reliable power but anything over 500 you'd need to beef stuff up mostly GTE rods and pistons & of course a stronger transmission.. Always make sure your motor is healthy before boosting anything.

Totally stock bottom end and unopened motor. Running 422whp drifting hard. Stock w55 with stock lsd. This is my second tranny however the first lasted 2years of hard drift life.

I spoke to a shop about helping out with the AEM install and tuning but they didn't want too unless I was ready to sign on for an engine build and installing a T-56. The person I spoke to said that he has blown 6 W-55s, 3 of which were stock form (which I find it hard to believe). I was about ready to polish it up and sell it but this is making me re-think things. Thanks, and keep those videos coming!
