If you wanna know what I mean, look up a video of Sung Kang describing his 240Z. It's purpose-built, but different from a racing build; feel comes before fast. I have plans to convert a classic mini to AWD and fit a 6 banger in the back. havent decided whether itll be a 2J, RB or possibly an S54 but itll be a lot of work and a hell of a weapon when its done. possibly space-framed aswell considering how ancient the design of the car is.

Hey dudes love the new season. I see you opted for a garrett gtx gen2 turbo. Haven't seen them in action yet but apparently they are laggier than the standard gtx but come on harder. I'm looking to go for a bigger turbo setup on my SR without compromising too much on response so it would be helpful if you could clear that up

dream swap would be a TVR 4.0 Straight 6 into a Datsun 240Z. close to 400BHP N.A. at 8000rpm and full aluminum block and head.

A more reliable version of this swap if you are stateside would be a Vortec 4200 Atlas straight 6. All aluminum, and with upgrades to the intake and exhaust theres no reason you couldn't spin it to 8K.

I like the chassi of vw golf 1 GTI but I want to swap the engine for a 2jz engine with turbo on it to make like 1100hp and modify the chassi as well keep going good luck for you guys 👍🏻👌🏻

If you did run into something as catastrophic as a melted piston like you guys have, is it better to just buy a new long block or is it worth it rebuild the internals so you know you have a reliable motor? Which option would cost less as well? Thanks, you guys rock!

Hey Chris, if you were to get a slight rod bearing knock on cylinder one, would you recommend buying all new bearings and trashing the crank or could you get away with just slapping a new bearing on that rod if the crank isn't badly scored? I ask because the knock is only slightly present at around 3k rpms with no load, under cruising and idle engine sounds fine.

I have a BMW E36 318is and a ford falcon ute with a barra straight 6 none turbo. I would love to get a barra turbo into that E36. Plus Barra engine are pretty cheap. I have never seen anything like it before. Plus those barra engines can do 1000hp with a few mods.

To Chris, for someone buying and upgrading a 370Z, what are important mods to do apart from good tires, suspension, brakes and all, I already have in plan a TT kit, either wisefab or Voodoo13 geometry kits, Meth or water injection and an r35 plenum adapter, and a full custom ECU, anything else you would recommend to make such a high HP setup reliable?
