Glad to see you liked my track. :) It took sooooo much R&D to get those cars just right. The tank was put in for the challenge of drifting a tank. I uploaded a second challenge pack with many improvements to this one including a new car, boss races, and much improved tracks. The lap counter just uses simple timers to keep track. I used my fastest time to set the timers so that it would only go off when a full lap is complete.

If it works and meets the requirements I can add it to the next challenge pack to race other people's drift cars.
