🍀Drifter Style Truck Show🍀| Driving Nippers 164 | Ken Thomas F10 and 143 | N.Ireland

My weekend at Drifter Style Truck Show in Northern Ireland. This is the first year the event has been put on and attracted trucks from all over the UK and Europe.
I didn’t take my truck but I did share the driving across in a 164 belonging to Nipper and travelled across with with a Ken Thomas F10 on the trailer and in convoy with the Ken Thomas 143 pulling a live in trailer
I met so many interesting people and met some people I’ve wanted to meet for a long time. I also seen some trucks in person that I’ve wanted to see in real life.

Hi Jemma Grant here in Hobart Tasmania. I am a bus spotter and write for a few Australian bus magazines and have written several times for the UK Buses magazine. I am also a fan of trucks and since finding your site a while back I watch as many videos as I can. I like Scania trucks and have been to the factory in Sweden that makes them(I am a vehicle body builder by trade and made Scania buses). Interesting your truck is fully automatic and many trucks in Australia are now the same or at least semi automatic. Mercedes Benz and Kenworth are my fav, but Scania are very popular here and are the only truck manufacturer who sells a 6x2 in Australia. Keep up the good work and stay safe Jemma. Grant.

Bit of a shame there's no British trucks ,, I worked at Bonalacs on St Faiths Aerodrome in Norwich in 1868 when I saw my first Scania ,,, they built refrigerated body's , the order for 6 was for Europe some where and they sent 2 Scania's to pick them up ,, Foot note to this story the trailer was full and it broke down somewhere in the Italian Alps , apparently it was blocking the road so the authorities pushed it over the edge , brand new truck and loaded trailer ,, consequently we got to build another Fridge Van to replace it..

Hi,sorry info not about this vlog however about your grain hauling,have you watched Laura farms vlogs she is in the mid West and the last few vlogs have been her farm,harvesting corn then hauling to the grain depot worth a look if you get the time,Laura and her husband grant,go from semi truck to tractor to combine while in harvest mode.

Signs confusing in service stations? I'm usually towing a caravan when I use these things, sometimes there is a designated area for caravans sometimes not, and you end up in the lorry park. I don't mind either way, but sometimes the signage for caravans seems to be a bit of an afterthought and you can easily end up in the wrong place.

Thanks for showing us this. Never been to truck show but on my list to do. My friend was a director of a haulage company and he let me drive a scania tractor around their site. Like you say goosebumps for me even though an auto. Not got a licence but was amazing to be in such a leviathan. You make it look so easy. I remember going with him on some country lanes in a truck and my god put fear into me. I suppose you get used to it. Really loving your channel

Welcome back Jemma, we all missed you. I really love your truck show videos and this is probably the best so far. The vintage F10 Volvo is fabulously restored, I'm not surprised you enjoyed driving the old girl. The lineup at the show is simply mindblowing.
