Thanks again for taking us along. I hope that one day the wife and I get to visit some of these beautiful places you show us. Thanks again for what you do.

@@brucesammuli1040 Thank you for the kind words! If you’re ever in the mood to relax and enjoy some of the best of Morocco’s culture, Essaouira is a pleasant option - much better than any of the major cities (unless you’re looking for energy and bustle) 👍

@@DougPVlogs Nice, welcome ✌️ How’s India been? I did two India trips back in ‘16 and ‘17 before I started this channel - would love to get back out there again and film there 👍

you really book trough Expedia lol i though no one uses it. i need to add my listing to it ..

I book through Hotels.com (which is an Expedia brand). The main reason being they give you a free night after 10 hotel nights, which works really well for my purposes (and I love that they never share your credit card number with hotels and only use virtual cards). I usually say 'Expedia' as this is what shows up on the hotel's end - they're always confused if I say "Hotels.com". And yes, you should add your listing! It's a very popular site in North America - I think in Europe, it's mostly Booking.com that's popular, but I've never really cared for them 😂

How is Essaouira a secret? It is one of the most touristy towns in Morocco, site of various music festivals, with lots of hotels now. There are direct flights from the UK and across Europe. If you want a secret in Morocco, try Tetouan or Azemmour or El Jadida.

@@goostrey4210 That might be true for some Europeans - literally no one in North America that I’ve spoken to has ever heard of it. Apart from Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakesh, awareness of what Morocco has to offer is limited. My audience is primarily US/Canada, but it doesn’t surprise me that Europeans are more aware of it, given the proximity and popularity of Morocco as a tourist destination. I hadn’t heard of Essaouira until 2023, so awareness of it perhaps isn’t as widespread globally as you might have been led to believe 🤷♂️

@@DrifterDave Fair enough (although I live in the US, not Europe). There are so many wonderful towns in Morocco. I look forward to the places you'll visit on your voyage into West Africa.

Even in Morocco, it's considered a bit hidden and maybe even a gem. One of my favorite places to visit in Morocco.
