I find myself enjoying Drifters a lot. I love Grimdark. The slight comedy to break the tone lets you appreciate even more all the brutal violence and humanizes the characters so that we don't see them as only a murder machine.It somehow makes me smile all the time.

Thats sadly normal for the anime industry. Animating something takes tons of money and time, even if some people dont wanna see that. It can be a good 4-5 years if you see another season of a series. UNLESS its something like Naruto or DBZ, but the animation isnt good then.
