That’s one vid it’s a 03 325i sulev transmission (zf) was tore up when we got it. So we replaced it with a gm trans. That was difficult couldn’t find hardly info on it apparently not many have done it. But I’ll try to find some more videos. My sons dream is to have bmw drift car. An his favorite drifter is Adam. He watches all of y’all content on KZbin. But we got him this bmw an then come to find out Adam had the same one. I’ll send a few more vids I noticed you guys love the e46 wagons I got my daughter a 05 325xi I’ll send a vid of it n I look forward to hearing back from you guys thanks n if u want I can’t give u a contact number..wanna also say u guys take bmws to a whole new level …btw my name is chuck Rhymer my sons name is dante Rhymer …

It's really common to convert s54's to map sensor, you take the manifold pressure from the "vacum rail" behind the throttle bodies. Adams other s54 don't run maf.

not for stock DME tuning. that is when you are using a stand alone EMS such as AEM etc... It appears they are usng RK Tunes Tuner which tunes the stock DME and that uses speed density with a MAF in Blow thru configuration. i am running bottom mount BW s366 sxe 1.0 AR with a SPA bottom mount with external turbo smart WG welded to the s366 turbine housing plumbed back into my down pipe. I am also using a HPX MAF in blow thru config but I use HTE performance tuning who also does stock DME engine tuning.

@@THE46GUY quite common to do maf deletes on mss54 as well. The csl's comes with map sensor from factory. But if Jordan prefers to use maf then going with it makes sense.

@@TheOystei Yes, you're right. However, the stock DME on the MSS54HP DME CSL software does not use the map sensor as primary. It uses it as a secondary backup check. It's still uses speed density tables for the primary fuel and ignition Wanted to use the map sensor tables on the CSL tune, mainly because I also wanted to use the oil level option, but unfortunately we discovered that cannot use the map sensor tables on the CSL software not easily at least.

Stock s54s can make 700whp all day on good fuel as long as you don't run a baby turbo. Keep the torque coming in after 4k rpms and your good. Put in fresh rod bearings and do the vanos and send it.
