You first gotta mod the shit out of your car, you can't go buy a RWD Nissan and immidiately go and have fun on a togue, because they either make daily drivers or super fast track machines. I miss this kinda golden mean between practicality and comfort, like Silvia, Skyline, MR2 or RX7. The only fairly new car i can think of that is in a reasonable price and could be lots of fun is GT86/BRZ. Times are hard for petrolheads, and it wont be getting easier.

@@unknownuser4060 I’m glad to hear you had a great time! Just please please please be safe and maybe consider taking it to a track to get your skills before doing it on the street. I’ve been in two wrecks in the curves. First one was a few years ago with a friend. We were drifting and he lost control. Went off the side of a hill and rolled over. Came out pretty good all things considered, just had a minor concussion from my head hitting the window. Second was on my sport bike. I’ve been riding for a few years and just picked a bad line while going ~60 in a 35mph curve and had to lay the bike down. I have some nice scars from the road rash and my leg still isn’t 100% a month later but no serious injuries. The good times definitely out weigh the bad and I’ll get back into it eventually. You just gotta understand and accept the risk you’re putting yourself at and manage it the best you can. Have fun and stay safe out there 🤙

I miss my 1992 Nissan 240SX (RMS13), I used to take it to any mountain road I could find (Lake Berryessa outside of Napa, CA./Hwy 32 between Chico & Chester CA. I loved that car. I felt like I had a cheat option for parallel parking in San Francisco’s tiny parking spaces (especially the ones in Japantown) with the pop-up headlights and the tight turning radius. I guess that, even though I still own the car, I have been forced to move on. But videos like this keep my memories alive!

The feeling of nostaliga about time when i wasn't even born, and place i've never been to. Greets from Poland.
@TehDenizenz3 жыл бұрын
When we look at these kinds of things we feel sad that we weren't around or old enough during the 70s, 80s, 90s, and/or even the early 00s to experience such amazing things and we imagine how euphoric it would be to be alive in such a time, even with all the crazy shit that was going on at the time like the numerous wars, sky-high rate of violence, the quick rise and fall of prostitution, large amounts of drug use, extreme poverty, and so many more problems, of which we would just forget in our blissful imagination. Now back on topic, a lot of mountain roads in Japan now have speed bumpers to deter street racing/drifting and while it's still alive today, it just isn't the same and isn't as popular. We should still be grateful that we are living in the age of information in which we are able to see these kinds of things within moments and at any time we want. I just hope that a new trend comes up that is exciting and thrilling like this. Who knows what could be next? We've only been through 20% of the 21st century, not even a quarter through, and many of the people that say they were "born in the wrong generation" still have many many years ahead of them.

Idk if any of u can relate. But this vid and music kinda makes me wanna tear up. I havent been around in the 90s, and i really love cars to a point where its all about them in my life. But not being able to live life like they used to in the vid hurts. Today its all about social media, influencers blah blah. I wish i was surrounded by ppl with the same passion.
