Drifting the South Fork, Boise River, Fly Fishing Adventure

I spent hours and hours fishing from below the dam down to where the road takes off up into the prairie in July and August 1977. Essentially it is where I learned about and how to fly fish. Those whitefish look pretty good sized. I understand they eat well, especially smoked. Never tried it myself. Did fish for them during colder times like you using nymphs with chill results.

Thanks for sharing @craighoover1495! You have been fishing the South Fork for a long time and I’m sure are very experienced! We’ve had our fair share of good days (and challenging) days on the SF, but we stay at it!
