What in the flying batman is that stupidity? So they don't know how to address the humidity issue and they think those tiny holes are going to fix it? Related/unrelated note, my old boss is why ambient draw air fans have to be installed in kitchens on new construction homes that use open or closed cell foam. Discovered it years ago when he did a new house. Winter hit and they had a fire going on their fireplace. Wife started dinner and turned on the vent above the stove. It pulled the house into a vacuum and filled it with smoke so fast everyone had to clear out. Now we add pressure switches to bring in fresh air when the vent comes on to prevent that. So i subsequently learned a fast way to remove humidity from my house in the winter. In the summer, turn on your air conditioner lol.

It can be done & there are companies that succesfully trade on doing this.... its a cheapskate way to firstly clear the moisture in a "failed" unit & secondly to further ruin the "failed unit" and convert it back to being single glazing. Just replace the double glazed unit properly, its as simple as that....

Sorry but it's not a sealed unit once there is a hole drilled into it. It does not perform like a double glazed unit. When a double glazed unit fogs up it has failed & needs replacing. There is no other way to resolve the issue. They have a finite life & will fail at some point.

And by making holes u just turned 2 glass windows to 1 glass.

Ehh... in sweden such old double glaced windows can be opened and folded out so u can clean them inside. Drilling holes seems like a stupid solution. Good luch getting all small insects out if they cant be opened.
