-I do read and hear that your weapon durability lowers from smashing crates, but I keep checking my weapon and it is not loosing durability. Or at least not 1 point per object, There's no reason to swap it. -Yes, completing the contract for the Old grave, will make the entrance crumble, preventing you to return. -I'm 99% certain that the quest timer stops when you complete the objective. -Shout reaches your vision+1-2 tiles, so if you let an enemy step out of your view, and then shout, you will most likely only attract 1 enemy. -Walking outside is a strategy you have to use in this game, definitely not cheating. -Looting the tombs does not lower morale, digging graves indeed does. -Never seen anything rust related to my equipment, and I don't have time to look for a bridge :p

I am with you! The weapon used to take more durability damage smashing crates, but I think they changed it. I like this bc changing the weapon is annoying haha. Thank you so much for clarifying all of these questions I had! I appreciate it!

Now every town has 3 guys/spots to turn in the quests. One pays better, the other gives more rep in town and the other one gives more rep for brynn as far as I was able to see.
@DrIncompetent2 күн бұрын
Ohh, so it actually matters where you turn it in!? Maybe that's why the little fort gave extra cash? But it's less rep in the main town? Interesting!
@loffredabernardes2 күн бұрын
@@DrIncompetent I'm not 100% sure on the numbers but as far as I noticed its basically it. The fort pays a lil extra. I did notice a small diff in rep gained in brynn and other towns when turning to the for and the town elder, the later being the better but 20 or so points. Not 100% sure on how mich better the magistrate that goes from the mill to the inn is at rep thou.
@BartOppeelКүн бұрын
Correct, the Magistrate jumps from the Mill to the Drunken Woodsman Inn, he will give you more reputation in Brynn, which is your best source for it. And at the Roadside Tower in the north, you will get a little bit more Crowns. Near Mannshire I never really paid attention where the Magistrate goes, probably Winery - New Orchard. They provide contracts from the same pool.

At around 31:20 , you mentioned about sleeping there, yes you can. Just follow the road north of the tower there is an abandoned camp with a bed in there. Good for saving the game on the go. Its in the left side of the road.

Crossing rivers drains your energy if you hit 0 you die so beware if you fight then cross rivers without resting energy back . Follow road north a bit and there's a free sleep spot .

Wow, I didn't know that about energy when swimming! Thanks for the tip! You die if it hits 0? Is that only in water?

Best recipe on the go is lentil, lentil, leek, any other veggies (if you have in your inventory) add water create stew. It saved me so much money.

Good old melee builds are so mich more fun than magic or ranged in this game. I mean sure some people like to kite enemies around but there with spells and such bit the game feels so mich better when you go melee

100% The game feels as intended with some armor and an in-your-face style. My poor Sorc could sling some spells but needed a ton of runway lol

@DrIncompetent swords are incredibly strong later on too. I'm currently playing a lvl17 arna with swords but no shields. Right on target from warfare, elusiveness and a bit from armored combat. Shes a monster lol.

Honestly, I'm somewhat thankful that your sorcerer died, Doc. But let me explain... the game wasn't very appealing while you were playing that character. It was too much constant running away and kiting, and didn't seem like it was very well balanced, and it was making me not really want to try the game out myself. When that character died and you started Arna, all of a sudden you were able to face off against 2 thugs at a time and win and it seemed like it was so much more fair at that point. You still have to be careful, but you can stand your ground against one or two enemies. It really changed my mind on the game seeing that. I'm sure there are ways to play the mage but for my time, it really did seem a lot more appealing once you were playing Arna. So remember about silver linings and all that, even when bad things happen in your videos! I have the game in my library now, and as soon as I can tear myself forcefully away from Outward, I'm going to try it out. I hope you are enjoying the playthrough, and I'm looking forward to more of the complete beginner's series as well.
@DrIncompetent2 күн бұрын
Haha, that is such a good point! I don't have to run and hide, I can stand in like a champ! Arna just feels like how the game is meant to be played. Maybe if I had a hybrid caster with armor, but a pure caster is TOUGH! haha
@malasardar3147Күн бұрын
During initial 3_4 levels in stoneshard, you need to run away and kite enemies. And a sorcerer build is one of the tough builds in the game. Even later on when you get stronger, you need to narrow down huge crowds of enemies and kill them one by one. Crowd control is for the guys who are really pro in the game. Those guys usually create meta builds. But playing that way is more of a chore than actually enjoying the game.
