A full-sized and flavor-guaranteed internal rice recipe that will suit your table! With its sweet spice smell, soft rice and roasted pine nuts, it is the perfect accompaniment to any dish. Try it now, feel the difference of taste!
Materials:
• 2 cups baldo rice
• 1 large dried onion
• 30-40 grams of bell pine nuts (If not, you can use almonds, peanuts or pistachios)
• 2-3 tablespoons of currants
• 5 tablespoons olive oil
• 3-3.5 cups boiling water (you can use 1 cup of chicken broth)
• 1.5 tablespoons butter
• Black pepper with the tip of a teaspoon
• Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
Allspice with the tip of a teaspoon
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
• 1 handful parsley
• 1 handful of dill (if there is no parsley and dill, dry mint can be used)
Its making:
1. Finely chop the dried onion. Chop the parsley and dill.
2. Leave the currants to soften by placing them in warm water.
3. Wash the rice and let it drain in a strainer.
4. Heat the olive oil in a rice pan, add the chopped onion and fry until pink.
5. Add the pine nuts and continue roasting.
6. Add the drained rice and fry for a few minutes.
7. Add the currants and mix, then continue roasting by adding the spices and salt.
8. Add the butter and mix until melted.
9. Finally, add the sugar and pour the boiling water. Close the lid and cook over low heat until the water is drained.
10. When the rice juice is drawn, remove from January, add parsley and dill and mix.
11. Leave to infuse and serve.
The Knack:
Make sure to wash the rice several times and drain the starch. So you will get a grain-by-grain and a tastier rice. And you should rest the cooked rice for 15- 20 minutes, so that its flavor will increase even more.
Note:
You can add a more intense flavor to the rice by using chicken broth. You can also increase the spices according to your taste buds.
