Happy new year. No drink recommendations, I haven’t had one in over eight years. ( but that’s also why I have abs😉) 😂 good show .

I have a couple drink recipes, but I don't know if you can drink gin. French 75, Pineapple Under the Sea, Sidecar, Bee’s Knees, Moscow Mule, and White Russian. My personal favorite is the “French 75” because of its origin is in the World War One. The recipe below are my measurements that are derived from the recipe in the Savoy Cocktail Book from 1930. Take 2oz Gin, 1oz Lemon juice, 1 Teaspoon of Powdered Sugar (can adjust sugar to taste), add ice and shake. Strain into glass and top off with bubbly wine (traditionally a champagne), if you are feeling fancy garnish with a twist of lemon skin. I am cheap so I go with a $10 Cook's California Champagne that comes in a 1.5L bottle. If you are feeling a tiki night, go with the SpongeBob “Pineapple Under the Sea” cocktail. Take 4oz Pineapple juice, 3oz rum, 1.5ox blue Curacao liqueur, 1.5oz cream of coconut, add ice, and stir until mixed. Strain and pore over crushed ice, garnish with pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry. If you are looking for another classic that again has its origins in World War One, the “Sidecar” is a good cocktail too. Again, these are my measurements derived from the recipe in the Savoy Cocktail Book. 1.5oz brandy, 0.75oz orange liqueur (traditionally Cointreau specifically), 0.75oz lemon juice, add ice and shake. Strain into glass and serve. Another classic is the “Bee’s Knees” from the Prohibition. Take 2oz Gin, 1oz honey syrup (1 part honey to 1 part water to make it pourable), 1oz lemon juice, add ice and shake. Strain into glass and serve. The last two, the Moscow Mule and the White Russia, everyone knows so I won’t bore you with those recipes.
