I grew up diving and free diving in San Diego, Mexico, and the island that they train in. Seriously some of the most sketchy waters on the planet. Most people that dive in those areas know exactly what they're doing, and those that don't get checked really quick. Great stories. I have huge respect for Marcus and always enjoy hearing his perspective on things.

Only pressed play because Marcus Luttrell named in title............ Thank goodness for his refreshing, quick witted humour. His humility......His humility must make many a man cringe, when upon self reflection they realise the hardships life lessons faced are minuscule in comparison to this mans life lessons. Yes every man is different and every situation differs, next time you sit in traffic cursing, whining due to the rain, wondering why on earth that bloke in front of you is taking so long to order a burger.... Remember what this bloke and many others similar to him have experienced...... Be thankful our challenges in life, are not life itself.

@Benjamin Kennedy The After Action Reports with both Ranger and Marine accounts (as well as book written by them about Redwings) paints the picture that Marcus ran. Marcus also said during an interview that there was a firefight in his rescue - which was proven false by the Rangers that rescued him. They even stated that the villagers were welcoming upon their arrival to pick up Luttrell and even had tea with Gulab for 30mins prior to departing. Luttrells story is bogus and its all about how much money he can make off a story that is really more of a tragedy due to incompetence and arrogance from leadership than it is about heroism.

@@luisgomes535 seriously? And you believe that? Why don't you look up the debriefing after he got home about how messed up he was. The dude literally died on the operating table. He fought with everything he had. He fought with his team untill the very end. He ended up alone in basically no clothes with no gear besides his rifle. By the time he made the decision to hide until it was safe to evade it was the option left for survival. Don't be so easy to believe BS. Saying Navy Seal coward that deserted his squad doesn't even make sense. He went back to active duty and back to an active platoon again after, everybody else he served with and been in actual combat with that stands behind him is all full of shit and covering up a coward huh?
