Hoysala Temples now India's 42nd UNESCO's World Heritage site | Indepth | Drishti IAS English

Recently, the sacred ensembles of Hoysalas, inscribed on UNESCO world heritage list. The announcement was made by the agency in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee is being held till September 25.

Chennakeshava temple --- in Beluru Dedicated to Vishnu Roofless top Keshava temple---- Dedicated to Krishna. Hoyasaleswar temple In halebidu--- Built by vishnuvardhan hoyasaleswara In 1121ce .
