Hello! @@Rehan1278 The syllabus for UPSC IAS does not change every year. It remains mostly the same, with some minor changes or additions. So, you can start preparing for the exam even without a degree, but you will be only eligible to appear in the examination after your Graduation and with age criteria of 21 years old. Here are some tips for your preparation: 1) It is important to understand the syllabus and exam pattern before starting your preparation. 2) As you do not have a degree, it is advisable to start from the basics of every subject. This will help you to build a strong foundation. 3) Keep yourself updated with the current affairs and events of national and international importance. 4) Writing practice is important for the mains exam. You should practice writing essays, answers to questions, and other descriptive answers. 5) Take mock tests: It is essential to take mock tests regularly to assess your preparation level and work on your weaknesses. NCERT is considered as a base of your preparation as our NCERT course is specifically designed to help students prepare for the UPSC exam from scratch as this course is meant to develop a basic understanding of the Civil Services Examination through NCERT Books and covers the syllabus from 6 to 12th Class, so this will act as a base for the preparation of the Civil Services Examination & other competitive exams as well. You are expected to write both essays in the same language, either both in English or in the chosen regional language.
