It was first time I'm 1987 I had watched Mohanlal in a Malayalam movie over insist of my friend, he told me Mohanlal is superstar of Malayali movies. Being a Bihari by birth I have no idea about Malayalam language and Mr. Mohanlal. But one thing I could say I had feel.the acting prowess of Mohanlal. In the era of Amitabh Bachchan I became fan of him and watched 3 movies of him in a row. That time no sub titles were appear to understand the dialogues but his expression emoted through his eyes and actions were enough to understand. In bollywood... I can't remember anybody who had achieved that height of acting till date. Salute you Mohanlal Sir ! (A Bihari from Bihar).

got the point u r trying say...but a fact remains that how good the script is doesn't matter if the actors casted in movie just poop in their acting. So yup script is the first important thing probably but if u have talented actor sometimes average scripting may turn interesting. So the actors get the first appreciation when it comes to movie or tv drama or anything else. then comes the diretor and script writer respectively as the direction matters too much to execute the script and the story the writer trying to tell.
