Even though this was a Grand Theft Auto wannabe, it was and still is the best GTA wannabe the world has ever seen. Much more serious than GTA, which is why I loved it. It had so many glitches and bugs, but that's what made it awesome. Need to go find it again.

Yeah, have to agree with you. GTA is a great franchise, but its the little details which make me rank Driv3r above them all...the cinematic cutscenes, the car physics/damage, the scenary, and the AWESOME soundtrack...this song in particular is one of the most epic songs Ive ever heard, the way it builds and explodes near the end, amazing!

I've played all of these sandbox games, GTA, Crackdown, Driver, Saints Row, they're all great franchises but I have to admit Driv3r, no matter how flawed it was, included hands down the best soundtrack of them all. Destiny, C'mon and Try, Static in the Cities, Move Over, Zero PM etc... So much fantastic Indie and Rock I never would've even heard of without this game.

Driver 2 was challenging throughout the game but the final mission can't compare to Driver 1's challenge Driv3r I don't even know yet. The controls are so awkward and the constant gun battles are insane !!

lost my ps2 a few years ago. found it today and what did i find in the game tray still. DRIV3R. im bout to play the hell outta this game again. i still got the other driver games too. im gonna start with the first one and beat them all again in order. gotta get ready for driver san fran. DRIV3R left off with such a cliff hanger that i gotta know what happens next. best storyline ever. best series ever. they need to make a movie outta the Driver series

yeah i was driving one time in the game and i heard singing b/c i had the soundtrack music turned off and im like wtf is that is someone playing a stereo in the streets b/c some places do that, but i got out and went looking around and as i got closer to the church the singing got louder and it was really loud when i was at the church door and theres a place in miami too that has drum music playing, same idea.

yeah it sounds like a guy singing in the church b/c when i approach the church on the road i can hear it, and in miami theres a little shop which has drum music playing, same idea. id like to find a program that can rip all the audio from this game, all the music all sound effect every sound that plays in the game but its all in this archive thats named driver3.img and i dunno how to open it but this program galled game extractor does it, the catch? you need to pay money to get the full version.

@VicePower the critics trashed it because of the bugs, but in my opinion the bugs were just another great feature! :) still prefer it to GTAIV, i guess because like Final Fantasy X, it made ya really feel like a part of the story.
