Ashley The Fox Well, if one were to listen very carefully, Pokemon Cries sounds that were used prior to generation VI can be heard. These cries in particular come from Pokemon in Generation IV, other wise known from Diamond, Pearl, & Platinum. The cry used by Gabite can be heard at 0:51. A sound similar to the cry used by Heatran can be heard at 1:38 and 3:11.

You are so right. I came down into the comments to type this exact thing. Happy to see I'm not the only one. It's the iconic "Dialga/Heatran's cry" sound effect. You can also hear another different sound effect from that same song too at 2:42. I refuse to believe she wasn't inspired by DMC music when making this OST considering this was released right after DMC4.
