Trailmater Offroad Recovery

Trailmater Offroad Recovery

Күн бұрын

Mike and I had to run out near 7 Mile Rim and help rescue a rental that got headed up an old mining road. We got them out of the situation they were in and turned around, then we spotted them out to a good road. Then early on a Saturday morning I got a call for 2 jeeps stuck at the bottom of the Gold Bar Waterfall and a Honda Civic stuck on the mountain. So I woke Lilli up and off we went. I drove the 2 jeeps up the Waterfall for the guys and winched the ladies out of the mud on the mountain and we took the rest of the day off. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.
If you're in the Moab area and looking to rent a capable jeep for exploring check out Twisted Jeep Rentals (435)259-0335.

Customer: We tried EVERY line. Rory walks over drives their jeeps UP the waterfall with seemingly no effort. Customer: Except that one. Experience wins EVERY time. It's SOOO good to see Lilli riding with her daddy. It is always a treat to see her smile.😺 I hope the two of you had a wonderful rest of your day! 🫂💯

Seems like too many off-roaders buy/build a cool-looking, capable Jeep and *then* go out to attain the driving skills, (rather than learn the basic skills first) and/or assume “eh, it can’t be that hard”. I feel a teensy bit bad for these guys, but not a lot. I know my little ‘03 Rubicon with a few upgrades far outmatches my skills or my desire to drive sketchy stuff. With its short wheelbase, I had to come up that obstacle on the pile of rocks at the far left of the screen (far right if you’re driving up it). I was thinking we for sure wouldn’t make it, but we scooted right up with not a care in the world.

I drove my '69 mustang for fourteen years without a working fuel gauge. I carried a gallon can in the trunk that I never used on my own car. I'll bet I helped forty plus people that ran out of gas with that can...

I had a coworker friend who was a big time fuel gambler! My route was next to his and I was never surprised when he called me to see if I had my fuel card on me.🙄Sometimes I did and other times he borrowed lawn mower gas from his customers so that he could make it to the gas station. His customers still loved him 😊
