+Danny Emsi You're right! There's no STOP signs because their STOP signs say ALTO! And I did see several red and green traffic lights.

+Danny Emsi You're kinda right about the laws. I don't think many Ticos have a clue about driving, ALTO signs and general sharing of the roads. But, that is what makes driving in Costa Rica exciting!
