Born in lochgelly , went too South School till I moved too England aged 9. Still have fond memories too way back then, now 69 😢

I hardly recognised anywhere except the Store Clock, oor hoose and my mother's chip shop in Whyte Street, Torley's pub and Nardone's sweetie shop. I left Lochgelly in 1971 to join the Royal Navy and was back regularly through the 70s but have only been back briefly twice since both my parents died in the late 70s and early 80s. 👴⚓👴

I lived on Bishop Avenue till I left in 1963 as a 9 year old, wood love too see how much it’s changed after all these years! Probably wouldn’t recognise it. Thanks for uploading 👍

I remember that hill 10.51 seconds into video, Bishop Avenue at the top of hill on right, is that still there? I’m curious Al
