Thanks for doing these videos, Joel. I was on the fence until now with this game. I might have to pick it up here soon.

Joel - let's grab Richard for a game of this at GenCon! Since he demanded the video, we demand that he plays! :)

Yes, let's! Seriously, I know his time is limited as he will be commuting. I'd love to do it though. Also, happy to teach and watch a bit if you have a full table and Richard wants to learn it.

Drive Thru Review well that was awesome, thanks so much for it Joel. Really cool game, and I so wish it wasn't so blood thirsty, because it's not just Jen's who's a peacnik... I don't think I'd be comfortable with the constant threat of player attack throughout the game... especially such a long one!

***** This game looks so cool because it so thematic of a empire building game. Emperor's always have had to keep their people happy, and constant threat from barbarians and unpleasant events. This mimics what every empire in historically had to deal with, and it makes you feel like you are following the footsteps of great emperor's like Augustus Caesar and Alexander. One of my biggest issues of the game is that opponents start to close to each other, for a empire building game, the map should be more spread out and give the players more opportunities to explore.
