美ヶ原高原、この東京の猛暑をしばし忘れてさせて下さいました。 昔、ナビのない時代に迷いながら行った事思い出しました。下界がどんなにか暑くても、美ヶ原や車山は涼しい風が吹いてましたね。もうすぐ一面にニッコウキスゲが咲き、それも絶景でした。眺めの良い小屋、ぜひ行きたいです。 いつも楽しく拝見しています。ありがとうございます。

霧ヶ峰は森林限界という高さでもないのですが、昔から家畜の餌とするための採草が行われていて、いま草原になっているそうですね！

近道ですから、霧ヶ峰や車山に行く時は、蓼科方面に用がない時に、此の道を選んで走ってました。 途中に民家や別荘位しか無いので、道は広く無いのですが、車もほとんど会わなくて走り易い道です。
