Back in 2015, my mom bought a CPO 2014 X1 with less than 10,000 miles, and it now has over 110,000 miles on it In January when I turn 16, it will be my first car The original MSRP was about $38,000, and she payed $25,000 (I think), for only a 1 year old car It’s been very reliable, so I guess having a CPO car worked out well

I bought a 2020 sonata limited CPO for around 22k USD with 2k miles. I would say it was THE bargain, considering the amount of tech the sonata has, and other dealers were asking for much more for comparable models. The reason i think it's such a bargain is the warranty and the low mileage. I will always recommend low mileage CPO more than new cars

I’ve had a CPO 2019 for 1.5yrs, 50k miles, it’s had a minor issue with the radiator vent flaps (covered by a service campaign for 10 or 15 yrs), and a leaking rear axle seal replaced under CPO. Coming from a multi decades German car owner and mix of Mercedes bought new, etc BMW and MB and VW bought used…at most have had minor issues and provided good long term service.

The 22'-24' models do command a premium but look a lot fresher without having the weird BMW new looks. The m40i cars are wayyy too expensive right now 45k for a good one. I stopped looking bc I want he B58, ID7 and autonomous driving and you can get that in a '19 x5 for 35-40k.

I noticed I was not subscribed yet so I went ahead clicked the sub button. I have no idea how you are not at 100k yet. These videos are great and they feel so wholesome. So far I really enjoyed the LC500 and your sonata n line video (maybe a little biased because I like seeing my n line in videos). I've never considered a BMW until I was looking at the 2 series last night so It was cool to see you post a BMW video to have my coffee to. Still think i'd lease them if anything, right now im still perfectly happy with my little hyundai : ).. (PS. what are you thoughts on going from the sonata n line to the G80? I dont hate the G70 but I cant get sold on the luxury compact sedan segment.)
@TopherDrives2 ай бұрын
I appreciate that so much. Thank you for the comment! To answer your question: The G80 is a super nice car, and I'm excited to drive the new '25 facelift to refresh my memory. From the cars I have driven though I can say it would be a natural progression from your Sonata N Line. Enjoy that car as much as you can. The G80 is super well put together, and from what I remember has a really good Lexicon sound system, but isn't as fun to drive spiritedly as the Sonata.

What is reliability? I bought a CPO 2016 328i xdrive. The car is now 76k miles. Not once have I had to use the factory or CPO extended warranty or any out-of-warranty repairs, except for wear and tear items like new brakes, tires, and a couple of boot covers. I have a newish RAV4, which has gone back to the dealer for multiple warranty-related issues and continues to go once a year for recalls and TSB works. New BMWs are not the same BMWs of the yore.

This looks a lot like my wife's car. She has the LCI though, so... Halo energy sword tail lights. But, hers is also Phytonic Blue with the same style of wheel - a lot like this one, just with the LCI bits. Ours is a bit higher-spec than this, as we do have the Harmon Kardon (which is excellent) and the real leather, though in black. It was basically impossible to find Phytonic Blue with a black leather interior, new or used, so we decided to order one new. We have basically all the options except for M Sport. The 360 camera is excellent and is, frankly, far better than the one in our IS 500. Really, ours does not look all that different inside from yours. Maybe the CPO G01 is a cheat code after all. The biggest difference I see is the size of the infotainment screen, which is notably bigger in ours. However, it looks big enough in the pre-LCI. I genuinely think it's one of the best BMWs I've driven. I like how, unlike the 3-series, it doesn't have loads of pumped-in fake engine sound or burbles, and I like the light, precise steering. It's impressively quiet, too. And, for a 4000-pound box, 28 MPG is not half bad. In fact, it's only a couple MPG off of what we got in our previous 330i. Side note, I somehow missed those levers in the cargo area to fold down the rear seats! My mind was blown. I was like, "Wait, do WE have that?" And yes, ours does. We've owned ours for a little over a year and missed it all this time. We don't fold the seats down often, but still - handy to know.
@ARentz072 ай бұрын
One note: ours has developed a pretty annoying rattle toward the passenger side A-pillar. Current theory is that it's the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. There's a TSB for that, and... the symptoms are the same as what we have. Otherwise, it's rattle-free. Hopefully we'll get that one fixed.
