Gut that lower intake bro! Mine made an extra 10whp at redline and zero power loss anywhere, no tuning changes. 150whp/tq on my dyno. Super fun with the H trans. The F23 intake has a ton of potential for porting and gutting like the H series manifolds.

Nice numbers for a near stock single jingle. When I had my f23 in my eg I struggled to make high 140’s. Ripped it out and went b since but you can’t go wrong with the f’series. But as u said dirt cheap engines with decent power.

You can actually modify the H23 intake manifold to bolt to the head just a little shaving on the side by the thermostat housing it’s a nice gain with the complete intake

The H23 manifolds ports are actually way bigger than the ports on the head. The F23 manifold can be gutted like an H manifold and gives really good gains.

@@BeansTune so just take an h23 intake manifold shave the manifold down and port the cyl head might as well drop in som k20 pistons and jump up compression to 11:1 from 9.3:1 with more air should be about 180 stock to crank so like 160 wheel factory

@@matthewrodriguez552 yeah, not quite..... Bolt on F23's make 150-160whp pretty easily without touching anything internally. The H23 manifold is of no benefit when the F23 manifold is already just as good/better with the same type of potential for gutting/porting.

I've always loved the F23A1 motors, I've had 4 different 1998- 2001 honda accords , 1 accord was 1996 with the f23a1 swap , the f22 trans bolts right up and has longer gears loved that car , hopefully you do some mods to this engine and maybe turbo it someday and take people to Gapplebees

I delete that on all my cars bro. Either we adjust from the set screw on the tb or we bend the throttle plate where the cable hooks to it to get the idle right. It's less headache and I don't have to worry about it failing later
