I wish they would have used the pickups instead of the police for the missions "Car Bomb" and "Car Bomb Getaway". It would have resolved a major plot hole. It would make more sense since in the beginning of "Car Bomb", the car bomb is escorted by a pickup truck. Here's my take on "Car Bomb" and "Car Bomb" getaway except the patrol cars were replaced with the pickup trucks and it's Vasquez's men that are after you.
