After storing the second hijacked truck in the garage, Jones continues to look for leads as to who this Rosana Soto might be. Later, he finds out that there are four suspects driving around Havana and that one of them has the "clue" that will tell Tanner and Tobias exactly where Rosana will be waiting and at what time...

This mission is definitely on the more time consuming side, I'll give it that. And very strange indeed! Great highlights too haha. Believe me, I was much in awe myself when I saw that first car stuck in between Tanner's car and the building. I love how it just keeps on reversing and accelerating, trying to maneuver its way out of that spot. And at 7:04, I rewatched that part. My mentality there was that both ways put me on track to the car so I decided to run with the alternate route.

This mission was the one that took me the longest to finish ... I remember I spent months until I got it (when I was 11/12 years old) ... I thought I would never know the map of Las Vegas and Rio hahaha Fortunately, to this day I remember when I did it, a rainy day in 2003, and soon I made a call to a brother saying: Finally !!! 🤣🤣🤣

Very hard. The third car drives you away from the 4th, so is better if you put down it in little time, before it drives you to the Old Havana.

Go straight at the beginning, and embush the 1st car so that you can run into it head on . The key is to pick up a truck on the way that will make the whole thing easy, it will make the cars bounce back so you can go for other hits.( Finding a truck is rng but the odds are very good).

HAHA!!!, Man, it was 15 seconds of funny dancing, the back and forth, "cut and thrust", "give and take"... yes and no XDD I thought: "does he mean it???" I know you were trying to get into the car before wrecking it first and save some time. That would've been epic in Driver, I think!!! Took me 5 hours to beat it. I am using the beta version of REDriver2, its and built in emulator to be able to play on PC. I had to learn the algorithm this mission when cars are spawned crossing the street right when Im tailgating the suspect and end up crashing which was a pain. Best tips I got is look out for dead ends to slam them into the building, also when they take detours its a good opportunity as sometimes they try to turn around somewhere and end up crashing into trees and buildings etc then lastly best option is of course which is rare crashing into them head on, easiest when you map it out when you go after next suspect. I would say try to maybe get in front of the cars, or approach them from the oncoming way. Hitting the cars dead on usually damages them really well. Also, I have found out from playing this game alot that their weakness is taking corners. Usually I damage them when they are turning onto another street. So that is definitely something you want to master because in all honesty, that's what I wait for when I am doing this mission, when they turn, you make the hit. Hope this helped out a bit.

I totally agree! I think that it is the longevity of this mission and the short amount of time they give you, plus the fact that the cars that Tanner has to ram drive all over the place in these random patterns. I also hated Caine's Compound from Chicago and Tail Jericho from Havana.

A rather strange mission, don't you think? Time's fine, there's plenty of it, not wasting too much of course. Cars are nearby, three of 'em. The fourth is the one that seems to be a little bit challenging. In any case, drivers seem to be drunk or something, making the mission way easier. Higlights!!!: 1 - what the fuck was that strange dance with the first car??? XDDD 2 - extremely funny the way one yellow car forced you to take a street to the right near the end at 7:04 and you obey XDD

Lol, exactly. Of course they make the mission drag out to the last car you can hit. They should have made all four cars start on the map at the same time and Tanner picks which ones he wants to hit first. Then everyone would know that I would automatically go for the correct one, thus finishing the mission quickly : ).

Well, it's ok. I wasn't like yelling at you for having a bad day but I don't know if you were frustrated about the game or anything else. About "Chase The Gunman"... GGGHHHHHH!!!!! I can only remember ONE mission that could give me a WRATH RAGE that made me want to hit and destroy everything around me and that's "The President Run" in Driver 1. At least, in "Chase The Gunman" you got a chance to put yourself in front of the car and stop him before the road intersections if ya're skillful.

The emulator that I am using is called ePSXe (v. 1.7.0). I love it and think it's a great emulator (one of the better ones out there). Just google ePSXe and you can easily find it that way. I record this footage using a program called FRAPS.

I wish GameStop still sold PSX games, because there are still quite a few PSX games that I would like to get. The latest that GameStop goes back is to the PS2/XBOX era. So sadly, no you cannot buy PSX games at GameStop. Your best bet is to try to buy online (Amazon or Ebay should work fine). Or if you can find one of those hidden game stores that still sell NES/SNES/Sega Genesis/Playstation games, you can try those too lol.

I am playing off of an Playstation emulator on PC and not an actual Playstation unit. I am 100% sure that this is normal speed, its how I have been playing it my whole life :S. On the Playstation, Driver 2 plays the exact same way You're Playstation might have an internal problem with it?

You should speak for yourself, this run specifically was easy as the traffic didn't give much trouble this time. But I guess it depends on the "Luck Factor". This one wasn't one of the toughest, you should try the mission called "Chase he Gunman", you'll know what a driving nightmare is if you're not lucky. Believe me.

Anyways, I always take a dif. path at the begining so I make a head on collision with first car and it does hella damage. But your path worked too, 'cuz two of the cars were hella close. Ok so I can't seem to PM you (says you have friend lock on or something). What you have to do is find SCPH1001 zip online somewhere. Google it and you should be able to find it relatively easily... Place the unzipped files into the ePSXe directory and try opening again. Reply back telling if this works or not.
