Driver Ejected After Crashing Into Parked Car Injuring Two on Pacific Coast Highway In Malibu

03-14-24 | Malibu | 9:24PM | Los Angles County Fire, CHP, State Parks, and Ventura County Fire Department responded to reports of a traffic collision on Pacific Coast Highway and Mulholland Highway.
First arriving units located a two vehicle collision with one vehicle on the roadway of PCH, and a second vehicle that had careened over a cliff next to Leo Carillo Beach and over turned. Upon investigation the female driver from the rolled over SUV was ejected from the vehicle.
Firefighters assessed the ejected patient unfortunately pronounced the person deceased on scene, two people from the Toyota were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
LA County Fire helicopter also responded to the scene and searched for additional victims in the area surrounding the vehicles vicinity. A cause for the collision is unknown at this time.
CHP is investigating.
