I had a similar feeling after completing a pass of a truck on a normal 2 lane road. Cars appeared in opposing, but braking wasn’t much of an option. I just had to go really fast or else I’d be in a wreck as quickly. Staring a car down like that…if I’d been a second late in choosing when to pass, I don’t know if it would have ended well. It was definitely all too close for comfort. There was a rush, but I knew I wasn’t gonna be doing that again.
