If she sued for 5k, JJ would ask why. If plaintiff got fired from uber, it ll be yes. If she is still driving for uber, then JJ ll reimburse her for the lost wages which is the amount she is seeking. Kinda fair i think. The plaintiff did her homework before coming. Beside, its easy to access your weekly income as an uber driver. No way she can lie about it. The plaintiff is a nice person. I doubt she would come up with nonsense to begin with.

@@Catloudan, the drivers have the ability to see planned stops on both applications. I personally refuse stops and I even message customers up front while driving to them that if any changes are made to the trip I agreed to take, I reserve the right to cancel the trip. (Rideshare drivers are “independent contractors” and have the right to refuse any trip (except those with trained service animals, etc.). Why? We’re not paid to idle. Taking an Uber or Lyft through a drive-thru is one way to really piss off a driver.
