I like the filters of the ps3 version. A perfect sweet spot between the beta and pc versions.

I agree that the urban open world market is way less busy than it was when Driver San Francisco released. Even the "racing in a big city" is less common these days. On the other hand, the release of Mafia 1 also suggests that people want that kind of experience back... So yeah I don't know what Ubisoft is waiting for, a crowded market so the game could tank?

Did they ever say why the PC version looked so different than the console versions and cutscenes color-wise? It's almost like they left out some post processing effects by accident but at the same time the image is way clearer because of it.

Because the PC port was done by Ubisoft Kiev and the processing effects was an artistic choice of Reflections. So it's a mix of "lost in translation" and "it looks better without it most of the time" I would say!

@@VortexStory Certainly a possibility as Vortex put it, but I doubt artistic styles would be something they would pursue (being given a task to simply port a version of the game on PC on an already tight schedule). We just don't know. Other possibilities could be time constraints (PC version was delayed specifically once), or an oversight, even a bug. On PC, Chapter 1's introduction cutscene will not play under most circumstances for instance. Some other notable PC issues are untextured objects that are never consistent and occur seemingly at random, even affecting particle effects.

Ubisoft Kiev did the PC port? So that's why it looks bleak, unsaturated and dark, just like Russia. lmao Shame that it looks like it does, it definitely needed that colourful look to it, always thought the game looked off.
