London Underground Jubilee Line (Wembley Park to Stanmore) | ^DRIVERS EYE VIEW*

Here is a rare occasion of a Drivers Eye View on the Jubilee Line where I filmed a part journey between Wembley Park and Stanmore!
It was an amazing experience being in the cab of a 1996 stock, not to mention the lovely sunset views!
This was filmed and supervised with full permission. Do not access areas where you are not allowed. I am not taking requests for any London Underground line cab rides as I cannot guarantee that it will happen. Enjoy!

This brought back memories of my childhood in the 1960s/early 70s. My Grandparents lived near the footbridge just after Queensbury station and my brother and I would stand on the top of the bridge and wave at the drivers. It was exciting when they waved or tooted back. The bridge wasn’t covered in those days and as we got older, we could peer over the top. There was a trip cock on the side going towards Queensbury and we used to watch for it to lower accompanied by its distinctive hiss. Of course this line was part of the Bakerloo back then.

If we ever go to Wembley we park up at Stanmore and have a drink in jj moons in Kingsbury Never realised it took that long from Wembley tho.

Nice! The reason why it took so long was because of a track problem and the Jubilee line’s ATO system restricts it to 25mph

Why is the train going so slow?

The train is run by ATO (Automatic Train Operation) and the driver told me that there was problems with the track and the jubilee line had speed restrictions on this journey.
