Drivers eye view, Traralgon to Moe, N class, Sep 2024

Travel with the train driver as we journey from Traralgon to Moe in the East of the state of Victoria, Australia in an N class diesel electric locomotive in the last week of operation of these locomotives before being replaced with Vlocity railcars from the following week. September 2024.

Yeah I show up in your video at 42 minutes 45 seconds, I’m wearing a grey AIS shirt, next to my dad in a blue shirt and mum and sister were there too. We all enjoyed the journey, I’d never been on the Sandy line, and the train was smoother that my dad remembered it being.

It sure was. I ran Traralgon passenger trains with L class electric locomotives when I first joined the railways. 👍😀

@@driver667 they weren't the most loveable-looking 'trams'. 😆 Very rough to ride in too, although that was probably down to the condition of the track in their final years. I managed a couple of cab rides before the line was privatised and dieselised. Many photos taken, but I didn't have a video camera at the time.

@@Wog68 I don't think so. The gopro has a great 4k picture and ultra steady. Maybe if you have problems, it could be your connection or settings. Many people have commented on the good picture. 👍😀

I did not know it was pronounced that way, but I am so glad to hear it because in Japanese, Moe means to have feelings of strong affection towards animated characters. Must be a lot of Scooby Doo fans there.😁
