hello hello, Happy New Year!

So I'm back with a cover.. I actually really just wanted to focus more on putting out originals now, but this was just too good to pass on. I came across Olivia Rodrigo on HSMTMTS (High School Musical is my jam and when I heard about this show, I got curious and decided to check it out) a couple months ago, and when this song hit the charts, I didn't realize it was her at first until I saw her on Tiktok. After a few spins, this song, like everyone else, stuck with me so I decided to do my own take on it, but with a twist. Her sincerity and truth are what makes this track a masterpiece, and it's so inspiring. ♡
So here is my own vocal rendition of the heart wrenching hit, Drivers License.

Just compared this to the original and amazing how Morissette cleans up the one part and adds her own ache. With the perfect break in her voice. I don’t know her personally so curious if she wants more than she has or is very happy with her beautiful life with David. She’s still young but I wonder what her management company does to pitch in America. I've seen so many other locals on YT trying to cover this amazing song. They do a perfectly serviceable job but they all end up blending in and sounding the same.
