What makes it worse is the fact that they are also causing the traffic to slow down even more when the traffic enforcers need to stop traffic to get the people who were in violation of using the bus lane. They need to add a new penalty that adds 5000php to the ticket if they impede traffic during their traffic stop. These people will continue to do this until they make the fines higher and impose jail time for repeat violators or even making it mandatory to impound the vehicles for a minimum of 1 week to inconvenience the driver who is inconveniencing all of the motorist around them. The only people who should be using the bus lane besides the actual busses are those who have a legit emergency i.e. medical emergency or people who have been authorized to use the bus lane like law enforcement and legit emergency vehicles.
