Everything is a lot further apart in WA. It's not like those little states over east 😜

No access to the public through there.

@@thomasrobinson8336 nice country with a lot of distance between places over in WA. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀

It's a relatively new route completed in 1966, through 2 national parks, and a reserve, which is why you don't see any towns or farms. The next section, Moondyne to Toodyay West, begins to see farmland and public roads. It replaced an older, steeper, mostly single narrow gauge track to Northam that went through a number of small settlements.

An interesting thing I noticed over the last few vids is how much of the S&T infra is now running solar (or at least partially). Makes sense, cuts down on high-voltage wiring, maintenance and what not. Still- neat. Always love the cab rides
@driver6678 күн бұрын
@@toadie2k I think over time solar will play a bigger role outside the suburban areas. Very happy to hear you are enjoying the videos 👍😀

Wonderful journey. I'm surprised by the weather at this time of year. I looked up the climate for WA. Tropical in the north and Mediterranean in the south! Maybe this area is affected by the sea?
