I love Neferata so much - Emma Gregory is an audio artist that stands out in all of the books she narrates. My next snake will be named Nagadron after Neferata’s dread abyssal, & Emma or Gregory as a middle name in her honor (depending whether it’s a male or female) 🐍🐍🐍

Dude! That's so cool you mentioned Labyrinth of the Lost! I just got a physical copy about a month ago and I LOVED the ending! As a long time fan of Silver Tower, for me, it added a layer to the game that will forever change/evolve how I see and experience it. Lets just say, I loved the mirrors and the narrator...

Now my vote for Soulslayer. Since Soulslayer book Gotrek has accepted his place in the Mortal Realms, and does not want to die anymore. He wants to live a worthy life and improve life for the common man/aelf/duardin in the Realms and ironically make them less reliant on the gods.

I totally agree with you on Soul wars. It's my favorite book from all warhammer books I read (also 40k). I would also recommend Hallowed knights: plague garden by Josh Reynolds. Where a group of stormcast go into the realm of Nurgle. Wonderfully written and imagined.

That’s a great one as well. It just missed the list. I also didn’t want a list of just Hallowed Knights lol.

I’ve read 6 of the Gotrek and Felix novels. I’ve listened to Realmslayer, and read Gitslayer, Ghoulslayer, and Soulslayer. When I originally started in the Age of Sigmar series books I didn’t care for the stormcast eternals. They seemed like a cheap infinite source of soldiers. After learning more about them and how they are flawed after multiple reforging I was more interested. I read Dominion and really enjoyed it. I was hoping for a second part.

If you are interested, fan fact: in 2021, almost 50 Black Library's books of Warhammer 40,000 (including the Horus Heresy) were officially translated into Russian and published. At the same time, only 6 books from fb were released in a year and TWO BOOKS from Age of Sigmar... Such proportions. In total, only 9 Age of Sigmar books have been officially published in Russian for all time. Although I bought them all, the choice of publisher still is absolutely incomprehensible and random, and doen't even closely correspond to the scheme of recommendations for reading, such as from the White Dwarf (#465) magazine.

Not into the game :P, but this is still great fun to listen to, thanks! I have some Underworlds, thinking of getting into Warcry or Cursed city. I wonder if the chaos books actually make you sympathize with the "mad-max" lunatics of the Eightpoints. Callis & Toll also look cool. Plague garden was another one I was curious about.
@DriveThruReview3 жыл бұрын
Plague Garden was good. It was a little TOO focused on the battles, and got a bit tedious for me. The chaos books don't really make me sympathize. But, it does kind of ground them in a more real way.

I've read the first few Realmate Wars books, and I think they would make for a great Animated series intro to the Age of Sigmar!

Apparently GW are working on several animated and "other" style media productions. Not sure where they're at or even where we will view them. Hopefully just on Netflix or something.

@@joshuabrito6384 I don't know that they will ever reveal him as a Stormcast to be honest. There was speculation that Karl Franz is the Celestant Prime, but I think that has been shown not to be the case. Felix might be a long drawn out affair. (I really have no clue) :)

For sure. They did a nice thing with the Horus Heresy in some issues of White Dwarf last year where they broke it all down into different timelines you could follow. It would be nice to do something similar for AoS.
