There isn't a weight limit this year, you don't need to worry about that. Still might need to worry about it being too heavy, but even if it's 100 lbs I think it's still legal.

what plate material do you reccomend for rookie teams use for a drivetrain other than polycarb? (members have cad skills)

I have a quenstion, why is this chassis the only kind I see (exsept of the ones built from revqgobilds profiles)? what makes it good?

Nice editing, this video is really well made. Also, your tiles look to have weird texture on them, do you not have the official ones or are they upside down?

Thanks man! You just made my day. Our tiles are from last year so maybe that's why? I don't think they're upside down but they could be lol.

@@rebelroboticsftc440 the tiles should have a bumpy and smooth side. the smooth side should be facing up.

What material did y'all use for the side plates? How much weight can it support? Love the drive train!

We use polycarbonate. As to the weight limit idk exactly. Glad you like it!

Our drivetrain plates are .25 inches each.

As to the thickness of the plate. It doesn't matter that much. It really depends on what design you're going for, one thing to keep in mind is that if you're using polycarbonate like we did, it tends to flex so if you go to thin it could cause stuff to break.

What bearings did you guys use?

We are using 8mm inner diameter bearings from goBILDA (Sorry for the late response I have been sick lol).
