It's entirely possible Drivin' N' Cryin' is the most underrated band of my young adulthood. I'm ashamed to say I had to be reminded to give them a listen for the first time in a long time and now cannot stop.

@DOUG J. I used to think the same thing. I moved to Atlanta Georgia from New York City and I would roll my eyes at Drivin and Crying. Then I was invited to see them live a few times and the shows were pretty smoking hot. I'm 56 now and I will go anywhere within three hours of my house to see them play live and I'm in Athens,Georgia so I get to see them a lot. I would say it's one of the better live shows that I go see. So yes it's funny for me to go from totally thinking they were some stupid Southern Rock Band to finding they're one of my favorite bands out there.

I saw them in Jacksonville FL in the late 90s after seeing them several times in Charleston SC and ATL. They were always fan favorites in Chas, but the folks in Jax didn't have a clue. Show was poorly attended but they still rocked. Glad to be back in good ol' Carolina where they appreciate good music.

My Uncle owned a little hole in the wall, back in the day, in Charleston. The club was named The Flying Dutchman and on occasion they would pull in a decent band or two. Allman, Skynyrd, Tucker, Nugent, Tull, Turner, Cocker, REO, KISS, Montrose, Eddie Van Halen and Thorogood, just too name a few. I believe Uncle Bubba said these guy played there a time are two as well, if my memory serves me right. If so, they would've fit right in.

I could only mumble after seeing that cutie gal backup singer. The main vocal guy reminds me of Brian Johnson of ACDC. Poor lady in seats was fanning herself to the tune. My neighbor got badly drunk one night, his his keys from himself and sat in his Triumph screaming this song. At 2:15 am it's a catchy tune. Wait, who invited Eugene Porter to sing the third stanza?
