One thing that I would like to know is how much of the engine and drivetrain can be stock before internal failure from bolt on’s. Was there new pistons/crank/rods for this machine? And what would be the failing point of the ace engine? I would love to have some of the bolt on’s but afraid of engine failing Prematurely, or catastrophic failure,

The switch for this one was just the brake pedal. Evo is working on integrating it into stock ECUs, I'm sure they would have more details for you.

Stage 7 includes a motor build, but the chassis holds up to it. This car was geared up for the extra power but that probably wouldn't be completely necessary.

Stock for stock. The yxz doesn't come close. It's a 60 hp deficient ... You have to dump thousands into it for it to contend. Put that same into the X3 and it still walks all over it. And on every terrain.

Stock for stock the n/a x3 makes 90 hp....Yxz 114 n/a.. $17999 for x3. YXZ can be had cheaper...X3 turbos 26k 172hp...Yxz can be bought with dealer installed turbo that is under stock warranty GYTR that claims 182 at 6psi..Still a few $k less.I think they are builders machines anyway so I would go aftermarket and of course add rods but could pull off more power for less than the $26k +...

All the race series are different. I'd check out the BITD rule book for the unlimited UTV class. I believe they allow bike engines.

Well if you were able to stay out of it I imagine it would be just fine. The first time you find a nice straight away you'd probably hit somewhere near mach 12 before disintegrating into a tree.
